| 18. Formal Translation And if a man lies with a woman who is menstruating, and he uncovers her nakedness, he has exposed her source, and she has uncovered the source of her blood. Both of them shall be cut off from among their people. |
| 18. Dynamic Translation If a man has sexual relations with a woman during her period, and he uncovers her nakedness, he has revealed her flow, and she has uncovered the flow of her blood. Both of them are to be removed from their community. |
