Leviticus 27:8:1וְאִם־מָ֥ךְvehimmakhand if too poor

8. Formal Translation
But if he is too poor for your valuation, he shall be made to stand before the priest, and the priest shall value him. According to what the hand of the one vowing can attain, the priest shall value him.
8. Dynamic Translation
If a person cannot afford your set value, he must appear before the priest. The priest will determine the amount based on what the one vowing can pay.
