21. Formal Translation
For the Son of Man {huios tou anthropou, Suffering Messiah} indeed goes just as it has been written about Him, but woe to that man through whom the Son of Man is betrayed; it would have been good for him if that man had not been born.
21. Dynamic Translation
For the Son of Man {huios tou anthropou, Foretold Redeemer} is going away just as it was written about Him, but how terrible it will be for the person who betrays the Son of Man; it would have been better for him if he had never been born.
