33. Formal Translation But after turning and looking at His disciples, He rebuked Peter and said, “Go behind Me {Iesous, Sovereign Lord}, Satan! For you are not thinking the things of God {Theos, Divine Intent}, but the things of men.” |
33. Dynamic Translation But when He turned and saw His followers, He {Iesous, Compassionate Teacher} scolded Peter and said, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are not focused on God’s {Theos, Saving Plan} ways, but on human things.” |
