18. Formal Translation
Whenever it seizes him, it hurls him to the ground; he foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and stiffens. And I instructed your disciples to cast it out, but they were not able.
18. Dynamic Translation
Whenever it attacks him, it flings him to the ground; he foams at the mouth, grinds his teeth, and his body grows rigid. I urged your followers to drive it out, but they could not.
