If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, you came near to us, and I need your mercy. I admit that I have sinned and turned away from God. Receive the One Who Comes Near

Lord, revive your Church so we stop living as if you are distant. Make us a people who carry your nearness to the lonely, the fearful, and the overlooked. Let our words, homes, and friendships point to Emmanuel, God with us, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your Church a People of Your Presence

Father, thank you that you do not leave your people in distance or darkness. Thank you for the child who comes as a sign of your presence, and for the hope that you stay with us. Teach me gratitude that notices your nearness in ordinary days, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Coming Near

Pray by naming one place where you feel alone or unsure. Ask God to make his nearness real there today, and then thank him for one small sign of his care before you finish.

Pray the Promise in Loneliness

Pray for someone who feels abandoned or afraid: ask the Lord to draw near, calm their heart, and place a caring person beside them this week.

For Someone Who Feels Far Away

Bring these to God: a desire to be more present with people, patience to listen well, and courage to stay near when others are hurting. Ask him to shape you into someone whose life reflects his nearness.

Learning to Carry His Nearness
