If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and lived too often under fear of people instead of trusting you. I cannot save myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and receive you as my Lord. Keep my soul and my whole life in your care, and teach me to fear God rightly. Amen.

Choose Jesus Over Fear

Lord, revive your Church so that we fear you above every human threat. Free us from people-pleasing, from shallow courage, and from living as if the visible world is all that matters. Make us steady in truth, tender toward souls, and awake to eternity, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wake Us to Holy Reverence

Father, protect those who are threatened, intimidated, or afraid. Keep their bodies safe as you are able, and hold their souls in your care. Give them courage that does not collapse and peace that does not depend on people, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Guard the Fearful

Pray by naming one person, group, or pressure you fear most. Ask God to show you where that fear is bigger than it should be, and ask him for one obedient step that shows reverence for him today.

Pray Through One Fear

Bring these to God: the places where human approval controls you; the habit of guarding only outward safety; the desire to trust God with your inner life and your future.

Learning Holy Fear

Thank God that people can reach only so far, that your soul matters to him, and that he rules with justice beyond what humans can do. Thank him for not leaving your inner life unguarded.

Thanks for Care Beyond the Body
