Give only general encouragement and leave the shortage unaddressed

Assume people can manage without help if they are sent on their way

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and that I cannot meet my deepest need on my own. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord and Savior. Please forgive me, receive me, and lead me in your care. Amen.

Come to Jesus for What You Lack

Father, revive your Church. Where we have looked past the tired, the hungry, and the overlooked, awaken compassion in us again. Give us eyes to see real needs, courage to bring them to you, and love that acts with practical mercy. Make us attentive to people the way Jesus is attentive, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Lord, provide for people who are facing empty tables, long days, and not enough resources. Open timely help, daily bread, and practical care, and let your mercy reach them through your people, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
