Keep repeating the request until they give in

Go along with it because the person is family

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have listened to the wrong voices and have sinned in my thoughts, words, and actions. I turn from my sin and from every cruel desire. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. Forgive me, make me new, and lead my life as my Lord. I give myself to you now. Amen.

Turn Me from Wrong Voices

Lord, revive your church. Where we have been shaped by pressure, pride, or cruel speech, cleanse us and renew us. Make us a people who refuse to push others toward harm and who use our influence to bless, protect, and tell the truth. Awaken mercy in us, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Teach Your Church to Give Life

Father, protect me from voices that try to bend me toward what is cruel or unwise. Give me courage to step back, wisdom to refuse, and freedom to choose what is good, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Guard Me from Wrong Pressure

Pray by naming one person or situation where you feel pressure. Ask God for clear judgment, then ask for a calm response that honors what is right.

Pray Before You Respond

Pray for parents, children, and caregivers: that homes would shape one another toward good; that manipulation would lose its grip; and that every voice in a family would lead toward wisdom and life.

For Families and Young Hearts

Thank God that Scripture warns us about harmful influence. Thank him for any wisdom he has already given you, and ask for grace to notice the voices that shape you this week.
