Jesus says he will establish the church that belongs to him.

Pull back whenever criticism or pressure appears.

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and cannot save myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord. Build my life into your people and make me yours. Amen.

Lord, Receive Me and Build My Life

Lord, you who build your church, revive your people again. Where we have become timid, make us bold; where we have become distracted, make us faithful; where we have become divided, make us one. Let your church stand strong against every power that opposes your work, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church to Stand Firm

Father, when I feel small or surrounded by pressure, remind me that Jesus is building his church and that death's power will not win. Give me steadiness, courage, and trust in what your Son is doing, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Give thanks for Jesus naming people personally, gathering his church, and keeping it from being defeated. Thank God that his work is stronger than death and that ordinary people can belong to it.
