| 21. Formal Translation From that time Jesus {Iesous, Messiah Teacher} began to make it clear to His disciples that it was necessary for Him to go to Jerusalem, to suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, to be killed, and to be raised on the third day. |
| 21. Dynamic Translation From then on Jesus {Iesous, Obedient Sufferer} began explaining to His followers that He had to go to Jerusalem, endure much at the hands of the elders, chief priests, and scribes, be put to death, and be raised on the third day. |
