Feel the weight of it and tell the right person honestly

Keep it to yourself so you avoid involvement

Tell several other people first so the news spreads

Strike back before anyone else can respond

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and need your mercy. I turn from my sin and from trying to save myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as Lord and ask you to forgive me, receive me, and lead my life. Amen.

Receive Jesus in Honest Repentance

Lord, revive your church with hearts that notice pain, feel it deeply, and respond with truth. Keep us from indifference, gossip, and revenge. Make us people who grieve, pray, and speak honestly for the good of those who are hurt, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Compassion in Your Church

Father, forgive me for the times I have seen wrong and looked away, or talked about it carelessly instead of bringing it to the right place. Give me a tender conscience, clean speech, and courage to act with love, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Forgive My Indifference

Pray by naming what you saw, the sorrow it caused, and the next wise step. Ask God for humility, clear words, and courage to tell the right person.

Pray Through What You Saw

Pray for: people who have been hurt and need someone to notice; leaders and trusted people who must hear the truth; courage to speak facts without distortion; healing and justice for everyone affected.

For the Hurt and the Responsible

Lord, make me quick to notice when someone is harmed, quick to care, and slow to pass by. Teach me to carry sorrow into prayer and to bring hard things to the right place with love, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Grow in Holy Concern
