Assume they do not matter until they become useful

Stop, notice them, and respond with practical concern

Focus only on people who are already productive

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and lived apart from your will. I cannot save myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord and Savior. Where I have lived as though I were idle and far from your purpose, meet me with your mercy, lead me in your way, and make me yours. Amen.

Lord, Call Me Out of My Empty Waiting

Lord, revive your Church so we do not drift past the people you are already seeing. Awaken us from passivity, sharpen our eyes for those who are waiting, and give us hearts that move toward the overlooked with compassion and wisdom. Make us attentive, ready, and faithful in the places where others are standing still, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wake Your Church to Notice

Pray by naming one place where people may be waiting, overlooked, or ignored. Ask God to help you notice them clearly, to understand what they need, and to show you one humble step you can take today.

Pray for Eyes That Notice

Pray for people who are unemployed, underemployed, or standing at the edge of community life. Ask God to provide meaningful work, daily provision, and people who will treat them with dignity and care.

For People Waiting on Work

Lord, soften my heart so I do not ignore people who are waiting or overlooked. Give me the grace to stop, notice, and respond with practical kindness instead of judgment or hurry. Teach me to see others as you see them, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Help Me Not to Pass By

Thank God that he notices people others may pass by. Thank him for his attention, for the dignity he gives to those who seem idle or unseen, and for the chance to learn his way of seeing.

Thank You for Seeing the Overlooked
