Give money only and avoid taking family responsibility

Step in with practical responsibility so the person is not left alone

Offer sympathy, but leave the hard part for someone else

Wait until someone else takes charge before doing anything

Help only if it is easy and fits your schedule

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and need your mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. Turn me from my sin, forgive me, and give me a new heart. Make me yours, and bring me into your family as my Lord and Savior. Amen.

Father, for anyone who feels the pain of loss, childlessness, or an unfinished family story, draw near with comfort. Surround them with care, give them steady hope, and provide people who will help carry what feels too heavy, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
