Father, revive your Church to honor Jesus as Lord with more than words. Where we have reduced him to a title, a tradition, or a safe idea, open our eyes again. Give us reverence, obedience, and joy in the One David called Lord, and make our witness humble and clear, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Lord, thank you that Jesus is greater than our family expectations and bigger than our categories. Thank you for the wisdom of your plan and for the honor David gave him. Teach me gratitude when your truth surprises me, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
