Turn from harm, admit wrong, and seek mercy

Feel sorry briefly, then continue unchanged

Focus on appearing right, even if others are hurt

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned, and I cannot wash away my guilt. I repent and turn from my sin. I believe you died for me and rose again. I trust you to forgive me, make me new, and lead me as my Lord. Let your mercy cover my guilt and your life shape my steps. Amen.

Receive Mercy and Life

Lord, revive your Church so we no longer shrug at injustice or the suffering of the righteous. Give us tender consciences, brave compassion, and a holy fear of sin. Make us protect the vulnerable, speak for the silenced, and walk in truth, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive a Tender Church

Father, search me for any hardness, contempt, or quiet cruelty toward others. I confess where I have ignored harm, excused it, or added to it. Wash me, turn me back, and make me quick to repent and slow to wound, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Clean Hands and an Honest Heart

Pray by naming one place where violence, contempt, or injustice is easy to overlook. Ask God to show you the truth, to soften your heart, and to give you one concrete act of mercy or justice today.

Pray Over One Place of Harm

Pray for: children, families, and communities where harm is hidden; leaders who must protect the vulnerable; truth to expose wrongdoing before more people are hurt.

Shield the Innocent

Pray for: those who carry the memory of violence; people whose grief has gone unnoticed; and the grace to sit with them in compassion instead of turning away.

Comfort for the Grieved
