They lower the demands before asking anything.

They divide the work evenly among everyone.

They wait until people feel ready before speaking.

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I come to you worn down by sin and unable to carry my guilt. I admit that I have turned from God and tried to manage life on my own. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord and Savior. Lift what I cannot bear and make me yours. Amen.

Come to the One Who Lifts the Load

Lord, revive your Church so we do not place crushing loads on people and walk away. Make us humble, willing to help, and quick to share the burden with those who struggle. Wake us up to serve with mercy and truth, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Teach Your Church to Carry, Not Crush

Father, forgive me for the times I have expected more from others than I have been willing to give myself. Expose my hypocrisy, soften my heart, and make me willing to help carry what I have asked of others, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Forgive My Unshared Burdens

Lord, for everyone carrying unfair pressure, bring relief, strength, and rest. Send practical help, lighten what feels too heavy, and give courage for the next step, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Relief for the Overloaded

Begin by naming one expectation, task, or demand you have placed on someone else. Ask God to show whether it is heavier than you realized, and ask for one concrete way to share the burden rather than add to it.

Pray About the Load You Place on Others

Pray about: people carrying more than they can manage; leaders, parents, teachers, and all who influence others; the grace to notice when help is needed; and courage to step in and share the burden instead of standing apart.
