Wait to respond until the message becomes widely popular

Assume it is safe as long as it uses religious language

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and that I have listened to voices that do not lead me to life. I turn from my sin and from every false way. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as Lord and ask you to lead me in your truth. Forgive me, receive me, and make me yours. Amen.

Turn from Lies to the Truth

Lord, awaken your Church where we have grown careless with truth. Make us humble, alert, and ready to test what we hear. Keep us from being easily swayed, and teach us to love your voice above every other voice. Let your people stand steady in a confusing world, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wake Your Church to Discernment

Father, guard my mind and heart from teaching that sounds right but pulls me away from you. Give me discernment, patience, and courage to step back from what is false, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Guard Me from Misleading Voices

Begin by naming one message, voice, or teaching you need to weigh carefully. Ask God to show you whether it leads toward truth or away from it, then ask for one clear next step.

How to Pray for Discernment

Bring these before God: a desire to value truth more than popularity; humility to be corrected; steadiness when many voices compete for your attention; and willingness to follow what is right even when it is costly.

Growing in a Love for Truth

Pray for people who are listening to persuasive voices that are not true, for protection over new believers and seekers, for pastors and teachers to speak faithfully, and for mercy to lead the deceived back to truth.

For the Misled and Confused
