Keep choosing patient, practical good toward others.

Withdraw until people around you improve.

Care only for people who make love feel easy.

Turn My Cold Heart Toward You

Lord, as wrongdoing spreads and many hearts grow cold, breathe fresh life into your Church. Awaken us from numbness, soften what has hardened, and make our love steady, tender, and brave. Let us shine with holy compassion in a hard world, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Warm Your Church Again

Begin by naming one person or place where your love has cooled. Ask God to soften your response, then ask him for one concrete act of kindness or patience to practice today.

Pray for Warm Love

Bring God any resentment, cynicism, distraction, or fatigue that has made your love grow cold. Ask him to show you what is hardening your heart and to lead you back to mercy and tenderness.

What Has Been Cooling Me

Pray for people who are becoming numb because of the wrong they see and endure. Ask God to keep them tender, to surround them with faithful love, and to protect them from giving up on goodness.

For Hearts Growing Cold Around Me

Thank you, Lord, for every mercy that has kept my love alive. Thank you for your patience, for people who have loved me well, and for grace that can keep a heart warm in a broken world.

Thanks for Preserving Love
