Pause until someone else can bring the things out

Leave only after you have collected what matters most

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and tried to hold on to my own life. I cannot save myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord and Savior. Help me leave behind anything that keeps me from obeying you, and lead my life from this day forward. Amen.

Come Home in Obedience

Lord, awaken your Church to obey you without delay. Where we cling to comfort, security, or possessions, loosen our grip. Make us ready to hear your call and follow at once, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your People Ready

Pray by naming one place where you keep wanting to go back for safety. Ask God to show you what obedience looks like now, then ask for courage to do it today.

Pray for Prompt Obedience

Thank God for the freedom to obey without fear, for his care when you must leave things behind, and for the deeper security that is found in him rather than possessions.

Gratitude for Freedom to Obey

Pray for people who are fleeing danger, facing loss, or making a hard transition: that God would keep them safe, provide what they need, and help them trust him in the middle of change.

For People in Urgent Transition

Bring to God any attachment that slows your obedience, any fear of losing control, and any habit of holding back. Ask him to make your heart light and ready to follow.
