Move promptly to the place of safety God shows

Wait until you feel completely certain before acting

Stay where you are unless the move is convenient

Pass the decision to someone else so you do not have to choose

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I have sinned and gone my own way. I need your mercy and your saving help. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you alone. Be my Lord and my refuge, and lead me in your ways. Amen.

Run to Jesus for Safety

Lord, revive your Church so we hear your warnings and respond without delay. Free us from dullness, fear, and attachment to what you tell us to leave. Make us quick to move where you lead and faithful to help others find safety, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Us Quick to Obey

Bring thanks for God's timely warnings, for the places of safety he shows, and for his mercy that does not leave his people stranded.

Thank You for Warnings and Shelter

Pray by naming one area where you sense God is prompting you to move. Ask for clarity, courage, and a ready heart to act as soon as he shows the next step.

Ask for the Next Step

Lord, forgive me for hesitating when you call me to obey. I confess my fear, my comfort-seeking, and my tendency to delay. Turn my heart back to you and make me ready to follow where you lead, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Forgive My Delay

Pray for people facing sudden danger or upheaval, for believers who need courage to move quickly, for wisdom in urgent decisions, and for safe places and willing helpers.

Safety for the Vulnerable
