Wait for more dramatic proof before acting

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I have ignored your warnings and gone my own way. I admit my sin and my need for mercy. I turn from my sin and ask you to forgive me. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as Lord and I receive you as my Savior. Teach me to listen to your voice and follow you closely. Amen.

Hear Me and Save Me

Lord, awaken your Church to hear you when you warn. Where we have grown careless, make us attentive; where we delay obedience, make us quick to respond; where we have become dull, renew our hearts with holy readiness. Let us live as a people who listen and obey, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your People Alert

Father, thank you that you do not leave us unprepared. Thank you for speaking ahead of time, for caring enough to warn us, and for loving us with patient clarity. Give us grateful hearts that take your words seriously, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Speaking First

Start by naming one place where you tend to ignore caution. Ask God to make you attentive, to help you notice what he is saying, and to give you the courage to act before trouble grows.

Pray for a Teachable Heart

Bring these to God: someone who needs to hear a warning clearly, a relationship that needs honest caution before harm grows, and a friend who tends to dismiss wise counsel.

People Who Need Timely Notice

Father, make me quick to listen and quick to obey when you speak. Save me from delay, pride, and carelessness. Help me treat your warnings as mercy, and lead me to live with a ready heart, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
