Rush after it because urgency makes it believable

Trust it if it sounds religious or secret

Keep looking until the report feels certain

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have listened to false voices and gone my own way. I confess my sin and my need for your mercy. I turn from my sin and from every empty hope. I believe you died for me and rose again. I confess you as my Lord, and I ask you to lead me in your truth. Amen.

Receive Jesus as Lord

Lord, revive your Church to love your truth more than excitement. Keep us from chasing every rumor, every hidden claim, and every loud voice. Make us steady, humble, and faithful to your Son, so we point others to the real Christ and not to confusion, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your Church Steady in Truth

Father, when a message sounds urgent or secretive, help me not to rush out or trust it blindly. Give me patience, discernment, and a heart anchored in Jesus, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Steady My Steps

Name one claim, rumor, or pressure that pulls on you. Ask God to slow your response, test the message against his truth, and show you the next faithful step.

Pause Before You Act

Bring these to God: your tendency to react quickly; any fear of missing out on something spiritual; your desire to value truth over excitement; your need to listen carefully before you move.

Learning to Love Truth

Pray for someone who is easily drawn to dramatic claims, that they would be guarded from deception, strengthened in faith, and helped to recognize what is genuine.
