Pay attention to small signs and respond wisely when a season is changing

Wait until everything is certain before noticing anything at all

Treat every small change as a secret message and rush to conclusions

Ignore ordinary signs unless they are dramatic and impossible to miss

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, you teach me to learn from the signs around me, and I need your wisdom. I admit that I have sinned and gone my own way. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Savior. I confess you as Lord, and I ask you to lead my life from this day on. Amen.

Lord, revive your Church to learn from you again. Make us alert to your voice, humble enough to notice what you are showing us, and ready to respond with obedience in every season. Keep us from becoming dull or careless, and awaken us to your timing, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Father, give me eyes to notice the lessons you place in ordinary things. When life changes, teach me to read the season well and respond with peace and wisdom, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank God for the way he uses simple, everyday signs to teach; for the beauty of changing seasons; and for the patience to learn before acting.
