The servant who has already stopped working and is resting

The servant who waits until everything is perfect before starting

The servant who keeps busy only while someone is watching

Keep doing the assigned work steadily, even before anyone notices

Do a quick burst of effort only when the deadline is near

Look prepared while letting the actual task slide

Treat small daily duties as too minor to matter

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and lived for myself. I turn from my sin and need your mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as Lord, and I ask you to make me yours and teach me to live as a faithful servant, ready for your coming. Amen.

Receive the Lord Who Is Coming

Lord, awaken your Church to steady obedience and joyful readiness. Where we have grown tired, distracted, or careless, renew our love for faithful work. Make us servants you would find actively serving when you come, and keep us watchful with hope. in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wake Your Church to Faithful Service

Father, thank you that you see and honor steady obedience even when others do not. Teach us to value hidden service, patient endurance, and ordinary duties done with care, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
