They are publicly welcomed by every nation

They are hated by all nations because of his name

Keep identifying with Jesus, even if it costs you socially

Hide your faith whenever possible so no one objects

Assume opposition means you should stop following Jesus

Answer rejection by joining in the hostility

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit my sin and my need for you. I turn from my sin and trust that you died for me and rose again. I confess you as Lord, and I want to belong to you even when following you is costly. Receive me, forgive me, and make me faithful to your name. Amen.

Receive Jesus in Suffering

Lord, wake up your Church where fear of people has made us quiet. Give us courage to stand with Jesus' name, endurance when pressure rises, and love that does not turn back when rejected. Make us faithful, pure, and unashamed, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your Church for Costly Faithfulness

Father, for every believer who is being mocked, pressured, or harmed because of Jesus, give strength for today. Hold them close, steady their hearts, and let your presence be their peace, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Strength for the Oppressed

Pray by naming the place where following Jesus feels risky. Ask the Lord for courage, ask him to keep you loyal to his name, and choose one obedient step you can take before the week ends.

Pray for Courage Before Pressure

Pray for: Christians who are threatened, excluded, or harmed for Jesus' name; wisdom and resilience for churches under pressure; strength to respond with steadfast love rather than fear.

For Believers Facing Hostility

Thank God that Jesus' name is worth bearing; thank him for the grace to remain loyal when it costs you; thank him that suffering for Christ is not the end of the story.
