Stay ready now so you can respond when the moment comes

Wait and hope there is still time after the moment has passed

Assume that being near the event is the same as being prepared

Leave preparation to someone else and focus on other things

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned and have not lived ready for you. I turn from my sin and trust that you died for me and rose again. Please forgive me, make me yours, and be my Lord and Savior. Welcome me into your kingdom and teach me to follow you. Amen.

Welcome Me In

Lord, awaken your Church from delay and distraction. Make us ready in holiness, faithful in waiting, and eager for your coming. Keep us from assuming there will always be time later, and teach us to live prepared before you, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your Church Ready

Father, thank you that you welcome the prepared into joy. Thank you for the hope of your banquet and the kindness of your invitation. Teach me to value the place you have made for your people, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for the Invitation

Pray by naming one area where you have been postponing obedience, ask God for the grace to respond now, and ask him to make your heart ready for his coming.

Pray for a Ready Heart

Pray for: a friend who keeps putting off a decision; people distracted by busyness; the courage to speak about Jesus while there is still time; hearts that will answer when God calls.

For Those Still Delayed

Bring these to God: a steady habit of readiness; a heart that values his coming; patience while you wait; and prompt obedience when it matters.
