Help only after the person proves trustworthiness

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and that I cannot meet my deepest need on my own. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and confess you as my Lord and Savior. Welcome me into your mercy, and teach me to live with your heart for the hungry, the thirsty, and the outsider. Amen.

Receive the One Who Comes to the Needy

Lord, revive your Church to notice hungry people, thirsty people, and those who feel like strangers. Forgive us for passing by with busy hearts, and make us quick to give, quick to refresh, and quick to welcome. Let your people look more and more like your mercy in the world, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Us to Notice Need

Father, provide food for the hungry, drink for the thirsty, and open doors for those who need a safe place. Supply what is lacking, and use your people to meet real needs with kindness, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Daily Bread and Fresh Water

Pray by naming one person who feels left out, new, or unseen. Ask God for a simple way to respond with food, a drink, a seat, a ride, or a warm introduction, and ask him to show you one step you can take today.

Pray for One Person to Welcome

Thank God for every time he has met your needs through other people: a meal, a drink, a place to rest, or a welcome when you felt out of place.

Thanks for Mercy Received

Pray for people around you who are hungry, thirsty, displaced, lonely, or new to a community. Ask God to provide for them and to send believers who will greet them with genuine hospitality.
