If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I come to you needy and unable to save myself. I confess that I have sinned and lived apart from you. Clothed by Your Mercy

Lord, revive your Church to see people who are lacking, sick, and shut away. Break our comfort, soften our hearts, and send us out with practical compassion. Make us faithful in the small acts of care you value, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank God for noticing people in bodily need, for teaching mercy as a real action, and for giving your church examples of compassionate presence.

Lord, open my eyes to the needs around me, and give me courage to provide what is needed, to check on the sick, and to visit those who feel forgotten. Keep me from excuses and from distance. Make me quick to serve, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Hands That Help

Name one person who lacks clothing, is unwell, or is isolated. Bring that person before God, ask for wisdom about one concrete act of care, and listen for the next faithful step.

Praying Through One Need

Pray for people who are ill, in prison, or cut off from care; for families and caregivers; and for mercy that reaches them with dignity, help, and hope.
