Treat readiness as an idea, not something to do

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and lived unready before God. I turn from my sin and ask you to forgive me and make me new. Wake My Heart, Lord Jesus

Lord, wake your Church from spiritual sleep. Where we have become careless, bring us back into order; where we have delayed obedience, make us quick to respond; where our hearts have gone dim, renew our readiness for your work. Revive us as a people who are alert, faithful, and prepared, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wake Your Church

Father, thank you that you call us to rise and prepare instead of leaving us asleep and scattered. Thank you for the mercy of a wake-up call and for caring about the order of our lives, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Waking Us

Lord, help me wake up where I have become careless. Put what is out of order back in place, and give me the grace to do what I know is right today, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Name one area of your life that feels out of order. Ask God to show you the next step, then pray for the strength to act on it today.

Pray Over One Area

Pray for someone you know who feels spiritually sleepy or overwhelmed. Ask God to wake them gently, clear their confusion, and help them become steady and prepared for what he is doing.
