Stay near, speak truth gently, and seek wise help for the person

Keep distance so you do not get drawn into the problem

Assume the authorities must be right and say nothing

Offer sympathy later, after the harm is already done

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I have sinned and I cannot free myself. I believe you were handed over, died for my sins, and rose again. I turn from my sin and ask you to save me. I confess you as my Lord and trust you with my life. Thank you for receiving me. Amen.

Come to Jesus for Freedom

Father, revive your Church so we do not look away when people are restrained, pushed aside, or treated unjustly. Make us brave to stand with the weak, tender enough to weep with the hurting, and faithful enough to keep going when the path is costly, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive the Church to Stand with the Vulnerable

Lord, thank you that Jesus went forward when he was restrained, led away, and handed over. Thank you that his suffering was not wasted, and that he remained faithful for us. Teach us to trust your purposes when life feels unfair, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Jesus' Willing Way

Name one situation where someone is under pressure or being treated unfairly. Ask God to show you one way to stay near, speak truth gently, and offer practical help today.

Pray Near Someone Under Pressure

Pray for people trapped in unjust systems, false accusation, or overwhelming authority; ask God to protect them, give them wise allies, and open a path toward mercy and justice, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

For Those Handed Over to Unjust Power

Bring these to God: any habit of looking away when someone suffers; fear that keeps you silent; and the desire to follow Jesus by choosing compassion, courage, and truth, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
