Refuse the ridicule and speak with respect

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned in my heart, my words, and my actions. Come to the One They Mocked

Father, awaken your Church where we have grown casual, cynical, or proud. Where we have treated Jesus lightly, restore awe, humility, and courage to honor him. Make us slow to mock, quick to bless, and faithful to speak with reverence, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Reverence in Your Church

Father, forgive me for the times I have laughed at what I should have defended, or stayed silent when I should have spoken with respect. Cleanse my heart, steady my tongue, and teach me to honor your Son with humility, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Turn My Heart from Contempt

Name the conversation where ridicule is forming, ask God for a respectful response, and choose one sentence that protects dignity rather than tears it down.

Pray Before You Join In

Pray for people who are mocked, excluded, or shamed; for God to strengthen their hearts; and for friends who will stand beside them with truth and kindness.

For Those Targeted by Ridicule

Pray for church leaders, teachers, parents, and other voices of influence: that they would not use words to demean, but would speak with humility, wisdom, and honor toward Jesus and others.

For Leaders to Speak with Reverence
