Keep trusting and obeying him even without the sign you want

Wait until he proves himself on your terms before responding

Believe only after every doubt is removed

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned, doubted you, and wanted you to prove yourself on my terms. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord and Savior. Be my King, even through the cross, and lead my life in faith. Amen.

Trust the Crucified King

Lord, revive your Church where we have learned to admire strength but not the way of the cross. Free us from demanding spectacle, deepen our trust in your Son, and make us bold to worship, obey, and witness to his true kingship in a skeptical world. Awaken us again, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew the Church at the Cross

Father, when I feel mocked, misunderstood, or asked to prove my faith, steady my heart. Help me trust Jesus when I cannot see the rescue I want, and let his patience shape my own, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Steady Me Under the Cross

Pray by naming one place where you are tempted to say, 'I will believe only if...' Then ask God to replace that demand with humble trust, and ask for one obedient step you can take today.

Pray When You Want Proof

Bring these to God: the places you treat obedience like a bargain; the ways you judge Jesus by outward weakness or suffering; the hidden desire to trust only after he meets your terms.

Repent of Testing Jesus

Pray for people who will only trust what looks powerful, for believers under pressure not to deny Christ, and for a clear witness that Jesus' cross is not defeat but saving love.
