Wait to trust God until the crowd becomes supportive

Answer the ridicule by mocking the crowd back

Treat the delay as proof that God does not care

Keep trusting God and ask him for help even under pressure

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and tried to live by my own strength. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord and Savior. Save me, lead me, and make my life yours. Amen.

Trusting Jesus as Lord

Lord, revive your church where fear has made us silent and ridicule has weakened our trust. Make us a people who rely on you, who speak of your Son with courage, and who wait for your rescue without losing faith. Awaken us to steadfast hope and holy boldness, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Our Trust

Father, when I am mocked for trusting you, give me a calm and steady heart. Remind me that your care is real even when rescue feels delayed, and help me rest in your willingness to help me, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Strength When Trust Is Mocked

Name one place where your trust in God feels pressured or embarrassed. Ask God to strengthen that trust, to show you one faithful response, and to help you keep honoring him with courage.

Pray Through Pressure

Bring thanks for God’s power to rescue, for his patience when help seems delayed, and for the gift of knowing Jesus as his Son.

Thankful for God’s Rescue

Pray for people who are ridiculed for trusting God, for believers to remain steady under pressure, and for those who mock faith to come to know the truth about Jesus.
