Make space early to seek Jesus, before the day gets crowded

Wait until life feels settled before you look for God

Put off prayer until you have no other plans left

Treat seeking Jesus as a last resort when nothing else works

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and I cannot save myself. I turn from my sin and trust that you died for me and rose again. I confess you as Lord and ask you to receive me by your mercy. Lead me into new life and teach me to seek you with all my heart. Amen.

Come to Jesus at Daybreak

Father, as these women went out at dawn to seek the tomb, awaken your Church to seek Jesus with fresh longing. Where we have delayed, make us ready; where we have grown tired, renew us; where we have forgotten to expect, restore our hope. Let your people come early, come together, and come with faith, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wake Your Church at Dawn

Lord, thank you that a new day can begin with seeking you, and that waiting does not have the final word. Thank you for the courage of these women and for the hope of daybreak. Teach me to start my day by turning toward you, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Pray by naming one morning habit, distraction, or delay that keeps you from seeking Christ first. Then ask God for a simple plan: a time, a place, and a step that will help you begin the day by looking to him.

How to Seek Him First

Pray for anyone who is approaching grief, disappointment, or uncertainty with a heavy heart. Ask God to meet them in the early light, give them company, and keep them seeking Jesus even when answers are not yet clear.

For Those Approaching Grief

Bring to God your own tendency to delay, distract yourself, or wait for better conditions. Ask for steady love, shared faith, and the grace to seek Christ faithfully at the start of each day.
