Lord, revive your Church with the mercy of Jesus. Where we have kept our distance, make us willing to draw near; where we have seen only shame, teach us to see a person; where we have been afraid to touch the hurting, give us courage to bring restoring care. Make us a people whose hands and words carry hope, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Father, stretch out your hand over those who carry sickness, chronic pain, or what feels unclean and broken. Bring relief, cleansing, and restoration where only you can heal, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Stretch Out Your Hand to Heal

Pray for: people who feel isolated, stigmatized, or untouchable; those living with shame or fear of rejection; courage for believers to approach them with kindness, dignity, and practical help.

For the Unseen and Avoided

Father, thank you that Jesus was willing to draw near and speak cleansing over the man. Thank you that your mercy is not afraid of our uncleanness, and that you restore what others may turn away from. I receive this hope with gratitude, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Willing Mercy

Name one place in your life where you need Jesus' restoring mercy. Ask him for cleansing there, be honest about what needs to change, and then listen quietly for the next simple step of obedience.
