If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I need your rescue. I admit my sin and my need for mercy. I believe you died for me and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord. Set me free and lead my life. Thank you for receiving me. Amen.

Receive the One Who Frees

Lord, revive your Church where fear has made us silent. Give us courage to speak plainly about your power, tenderness for people who are trapped or hurting, and a willingness to tell the whole story of your rescuing work. Awaken us to be faithful witnesses in our towns and cities, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your People Bold to Tell What You Have Done

Father, when I am startled, fearful, or unsure what to do, steady my heart. Help me not to run on panic, but to bring my fear to you and speak with honesty and peace, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Steady Me When I Am Shaken

First notice one situation where you have seen God help, heal, or rescue. Then ask him for humility to tell it truthfully, courage to speak to the right person, and care to include the hard parts without exaggeration.

Pray Before You Speak

Bring these to God: gratitude for deliverance, gratitude for truthful witnesses, gratitude that fear does not have the last word, and gratitude that his works do not need embellishment to be powerful.

Thanks for Rescue and a Clear Story

Pray for: people who still feel trapped by evil, fear, or confusion; courage for believers to speak about rescue; and communities that need to hear the whole story of God's help.

For Those Still Under Oppression
