Many people who collected taxes and people with bad reputations arrived

Make room for people on the margins and share ordinary life with them

Keep your circle small so no one feels awkward

Help people only after they prove they belong

Offer polite distance instead of real inclusion

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and that I need your mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord. Thank you for welcoming people like me. Come into my life and make me yours. Amen.

Come to Jesus' Table

Lord, revive your Church to look like your table. Free us from pride, fear, and distance. Teach us to welcome the overlooked, the ashamed, and the outsider as you did, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Open-Hearted Church

Thank God for Jesus' willingness to share life with people others rejected; thank him for mercy that reaches the overlooked; thank him for making room for people who thought they did not belong.

Grateful for Your Welcome

Pray by naming one person you tend to leave out, asking Jesus to show you his welcome, and asking for one practical way to make room for them this week.

Pray for One Open Seat

Father, be near to people who feel unwanted, judged, or left outside. Give them comfort, belonging, and a clear sign of your kindness through your people, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

For the Overlooked

Bring these to God: your hesitation to draw near, your habit of sorting people by reputation, your desire to be more like Jesus in ordinary settings, and one concrete step toward wider welcome.
