| 3. Formal Translation And when you offer a fire-offering to the LORD {Yahweh, Sacrifice Receiver}—whether as a burnt-offering or as a sacrifice for fulfilling a vow at your appointed times or as a freewill offering—it shall yield a pleasing aroma to the LORD from the herd or the flock. |
| 3. Dynamic Translation Whenever you present a fire-offering to the LORD {Yahweh, Recipient of Devotion}—whether a burnt-offering, a sacrifice to fulfill a vow, a freewill gift, or one offered at your appointed feasts—it must bring a pleasing smell to the LORD from your cattle or your flock. |
