וַיִּשְׁמַ֨ע{va-yish-MA###vah-yish-MAH###and heard} יְהוָ֜ה{Ye-ho-VAH###Yeh-ho-VAH###LORD} בְּק֣וֹל{be-KOL###beh-KOHL###the voice of} יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל{yis-ra-EL###yis-rah-EEL###Israel} וַיִּתֵּן֙{va-yit-TEN###vah-yit-TEN###and gave} אֶת־הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֔י{et-hak-ke-na-a-NEE###EET-hah-keh-na-ah-NEE###the Canaanite} וַיַּחֲרֵ֥ם{va-ya-kha-REM###vah-yah-kha-REHM###and he devoted to destruction} אֶתְהֶ֖ם{et-HEM###et-HEHM###them} וְאֶת־עָרֵיהֶ֑ם{ve-et-a-re-HEM###veh-EET-a-ray-HEHM###and their cities} וַיִּקְרָ֥א{va-yik-RA###vah-yik-RAA###and he called} שֵׁם־הַמָּק֖וֹם{shem-ham-ma-KOM###SHEEM-hahm-ma-KOHM###the name of the place} חָרְמָֽה׃פ{khor-MAH###khor-MAH###Hormah}
