1 A Psalm of David. LORD {YHWH, Covenant King}, who may be a guest in Your tent {ohel: sanctuary}? Who may make his home on Your holy hill?
2 The one who walks blamelessly {tamim: without defect} and does righteousness and speaks truth {emet: dependable speech} in his heart.
3 He does not slander with his tongue, he does no evil {raah: moral harm} to his neighbor, and he does not carry reproach {cherpah: public disgrace} against his close one.
4 In whose eyes a vile person is despised {nimas: spurned as vile}, but he honors those who fear the LORD {YHWH, Moral Judge}; he swears to his own harm and does not change.
5 He does not lend his money at interest and does not take a bribe against the innocent {naqi: one who is guiltless}; he who practices these things will not be moved {yimot: shaken or overthrown}.
