Source Text: Hebrew (WLC) Zechariah 14:17:1 ⧉וְ֠הָיָהvehayaand it shall be Zechariah 14:17:2 ⧉אֲשֶׁ֨רasherwhich or whoever Zechariah 14:17:3 ⧉לֹֽא־יַעֲלֶ֜הloyaalenot will go up Zechariah 14:17:4 ⧉מֵאֵ֨תmeetfrom with Zechariah 14:17:5 ⧉מִשְׁפְּח֤וֹתmishpekhotfamilies of Zechariah 14:17:6 ⧉הָאָ֙רֶץ֙haaretsthe earth Zechariah 14:17:7 ⧉אֶל־יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔םelyerushalaimto Jerusalem Zechariah 14:17:8 ⧉לְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲוֺ֔תlehishtakhavotto bow down Zechariah 14:17:9 ⧉לְמֶ֖לֶךְlemelekhto the king Zechariah 14:17:10 ⧉יְהוָ֣הyahwehthe LORD Zechariah 14:17:11 ⧉צְבָא֑וֹתtsevaotof hosts Zechariah 14:17:12 ⧉וְלֹ֥אveloand not Zechariah 14:17:13 ⧉עֲלֵיהֶ֖םalehemupon them Zechariah 14:17:14 ⧉יִהְיֶ֥הyihhethere shall be Zechariah 14:17:15 ⧉הַגָּֽשֶׁם׃hagashemthe rain |
| 17. Formal Translation And it will be that whoever of the families of the earth does not go up to Jerusalem to bow down to the King, the LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tsevaot, Divine Commander}, there will be no rain upon them. |
| 17. Dynamic Translation If any of the families on earth do not travel up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tsevaot, Universal Ruler}, they will receive no rain. |
