| 23. Formal Translation For rebellion is like the sin of divination, and stubbornness is like iniquity and teraphim. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD {Yahweh, Righteous Judge}, He has rejected you from being king. |
| 23. Dynamic Translation For disobedience is like witchcraft, and stubbornness is like iniquity and teraphim. Because you turned away from the LORD’s {Yahweh, Sovereign Enforcer} command, He has removed you from being king. |
