וַתַּ֤עַל{va-ta-AL###vah-tah-AL###and it went up or rose} הַמִּלְחָמָה֙{ha-mil-kha-MA###hah-mihl-khah-MAA###the battle} בַּיּ֣וֹם{ba-YOM###bah-YOHM###in the day} הַה֔וּא{ha-HU###hah-HOO###that} וּמֶ֣לֶךְ{u-ME-lekh###oo-MEH-lehkh###and (the) king of} יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל{yis-ra-EL###yihs-rah-EEL###Israel} הָיָ֨ה{ha-YA###haa-YAA###was} מַעֲמִ֧יד{ma-a-mi-ID###mah-ah-mee-EED###causing to stand, propping up, setting up} בַּמֶּרְכָּבָ֛ה{ba-mer-ka-VA###bah-mehr-kah-VAA###in the chariot} נֹ֥כַח{NO-khakh###NOH-khahkh###facing, opposite} אֲרָ֖ם{a-RAM###ah-RAAM###Aram, Syria} עַד־הָעָ֑רֶב{ad-ha-A-rev###ahd-hah-ah-AA-rehv###until the evening} וַיָּ֕מָת{va-ya-MAT###vah-yah-MAAT###and he died} לְעֵ֖ת{le-ET###leh-EET###at (the) time of} בּ֥וֹא{BO###BOH###coming, going in} הַשָּֽׁמֶשׁ׃{ha-sha-MESH###hah-shah-MEHSH###the sun}
