Keep praying and stay attentive to how God may answer

Stop expecting an answer once the words are spoken

Assume God only works if the moment feels dramatic

Treat prayer and God's response as unrelated

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and need your mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and open my life to you. Be my Lord and Savior, hear my prayer, and lead me in your way. Amen.

Receive the Lord Who Hears Prayer

Lord, revive your Church to pray with faith and hunger. Where we have grown distracted, bring us back to you. Where we have grown weary, make us watchful again. Where we have stopped expecting your answer, teach us to wait and trust. Let your people become a praying people, ready to hear and obey, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your People to Pray

When you bring one request to God, name it plainly, then pause and listen. Ask him for patience, peace, and a heart that notices his help in ordinary moments.

Pray and Keep Listening

Father, thank you that you hear me while I am still praying. Thank you for your timely help, even before I can see it. Teach me to trust your timing, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Responding

Pray for: people who have been waiting a long time for direction; courage to keep speaking to God; and the grace to recognize his help when it comes, even in an unexpected way.

For Those Still Waiting

Lord, keep me praying and keep me alert. Slow my impatience, deepen my trust, and help me notice your answer when it comes, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
