And the LORD {YHWH, Steadfast Lover} said to me, "Go again and love a woman beloved by a companion and an adulteress, just as the LORD loves the sons of Israel, though they are turning to other gods and are lovers of raisin-cakes {ashisei anavim: raisin-cakes}."
So I bought her for myself for fifteen{bachamishah asar: combined numeral} shekels of silver{ka-sef: weighed payment} and a homer of barley and a lethek of barley.
And I said to her, “You will dwell {teshevi: abide exclusively} with me for many days; you shall not play the harlot {tizni: act unfaithfully}, and you shall not belong to a man; and I also will be yours.”
For many days the sons of Israel will dwell without a king or prince, without sacrifice or pillar, without ephod {ephod: priestly garment} or teraphim {teraphim: ancestral idols}.
Afterward the sons of Israel will return and seek the LORD {YHWH, Covenant Restorer} their God {Elohim, Their Divine King} and David their king, and they will tremble toward the LORD and toward His goodness in the latter days {acharit hayamim: final era}.
