Come to My Shepherd

Lord, revive your Church so we come to you in your way, not by shortcuts or pride. Make us careful with the people you entrust to us, gentle with the weak, and faithful in our care. Give pastors, teachers, and every believer a true shepherd heart that reflects you. Stir us awake to serve with integrity and love, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your Church's Shepherd Heart

Father, I confess that I sometimes want the path of service without the patience of obedience. Forgive me for trying to force my way, and teach me to enter in a way that honors you and blesses others, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Forgive My Shortcuts

Give thanks for Jesus, the true shepherd who comes in the right way and cares for the flock. Thank God for faithful caregivers, mentors, and leaders who serve with humility and love.

Pray for church leaders, parents, mentors, and caregivers to serve with honesty, humility, and tenderness. Ask God to keep them from selfish motives and make them protective of those entrusted to them.
