If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and often trusted my own guesses instead of your truth. I need your mercy and cannot save myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and receive you as my Lord and Savior. Lead me when I do not understand, and teach me to follow you. Amen.

Receive Your Clear Voice

Lord, revive your Church so we no longer rush past your words or assume we already know your meaning. Give us humble hearts, patient listening, and shared discernment. Make us a people who seek you together when we are unsure, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your Church Teachable Again

Pray by naming one situation where you are unsure what someone means. Ask Jesus for clarity, ask for patience to listen again, and ask for humility before you conclude.

Pray for Clarity in Confusion

Bring thanks for Jesus' patience when his followers do not understand at once; for the mercy that lets confusion become a place of learning; and for his willingness to stay with you while you listen.

Thanks for Patient Teaching

Pray for: a conversation that is tangled by misunderstanding; people who are guessing at one another instead of asking; and a gentler, clearer way of speaking where confusion has grown.

Clarity for Relationships

Bring these to God: resistance to making quick conclusions; desire to ask honest questions; grace to wait before speaking; and a deeper trust that he can clarify what you cannot yet see.

A Humble, Listening Heart
