Treating prayer as something for emergencies only

Seeking Jesus mainly so other people will notice

Believing closeness matters only for spiritual leaders

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I know I have sinned and kept my heart at a distance from you. I turn from my sin and ask you to forgive me. I believe you died for me and rose again. I confess you as Lord and open my life to your love. Draw me near to you and make me yours. Amen.

Come Near to Jesus

Lord, revive your Church to stay close to Jesus again. Where we have rushed past prayer, restore our first love. Where we have lived at a distance, draw us back to your presence. Let your people be known for resting near you and reflecting your love to the world, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church in Closeness

Jesus, thank you that your love is personal and near. Thank you that you do not keep your people at a distance, but welcome them close to you. Help me rest in that love today, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Praise Jesus for loving disciples personally, for making room for closeness, and for being the kind of Lord whose presence is a place of belonging and rest.

Pray by naming one place where you feel far from Jesus, ask him to draw you near again, and then choose one quiet moment today to remain with him without rushing.

Pray for one friend, family member, or church member who feels distant from God; ask that they would know Jesus' personal love and find rest in his nearness.
