Lord, Lead Me to Your Truth

Lord, revive your Church with humility and discernment. When we do not understand, keep us from pride and make us eager to seek you together. Give us courage to ask honest questions, grace to listen carefully, and wisdom to point one another toward your truth, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your People Teachable Again

Pause with the part that is unclear. Name it honestly before God, ask for light to understand what he means, and wait for one simple next step before you speak.

Pray Before You Assume

Thank God for: people who can help you understand difficult words; patience when clarity takes time; the gift of a humble spirit that is willing to ask.

Thanks for Help in Understanding

Father, give me a humble heart that does not pretend to know what I do not know. When your words challenge me, help me seek understanding instead of guessing, and make me quick to learn, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
